The first college in Switzerland to offer an English Year 10 programme.
There are two important sets of examinations during the EC3 school year:
The results of these examinations determine promotion to EC4.
Regular classes do not all take place as usual during these examination periods. Students and parents will be provided with a detailed timetable for each of the periods in advance.
The AS-level examinations represent the first half of a complete AÂ level.
All EC3 students prepare for AS-level examinations, which take place in April, May and June. The dates and times of the examinations will be posted here once they have been announced by Pearson.
Registration for all examinations
Hull’s School will automatically register students for examinations in the subjects of the classes in which they are enrolled.
EC3 students who wish to resit an IGCSE examination they wrote in EC2 will need to register themselves using the form provided them by their Year Head.
Students will receive a detailed personal timetable about one month in advance, which will include the dates, starting times and venues for each examination. They will also receive an invoice for the fees, which must be paid prior to sitting the first examination.
Examination fees
Please note that the examination fees are not included in the yearly school fee or in the miscellaneous costs.
Hull’s School not only pushed my international career goals, but during this period of my life, I connected with many fascinating and inspiring colleagues, who became very close friends and helped me build my professional network.
