Has any kind of concentration disorder been diagnosed which impairs your child’s concentration for a longer period, or reduces the ability to work independently? Enrolment / Enrolment fee The signed enrolment form is legally binding and commits the parent(s) / guardian in question to the payment of the school and the enrolment fees. The contract can be terminated at any time. Students joining the college are charged a one-off enrolment fee of CHF 750 which is non-refundable.
School fees The annual school fee is divided into 12 monthly installments. The first instalment (August) is due before the academic year starts. A further 11 instalments are due by the 15th of the month until and including July of the following calendar year.
Additional expenses A flat rate for additional expenses is charged at the beginning of the academic year. It includes books and materials, day trips (excluding transport) and school events. Locker keys are property of the school and need to be returned at the end of the final school.
Keys Returned after the deadline will exact a charge of CHF 60.
Examination fees Are charged extra. Students are entered for examinations if school fees have been completely paid for the previous year.
Attendance Absences need to be excused and do not entitle students to a reduction in school fees; they should be kept to a minimum. If absences amount to more than 15% students may not be able to continue to the next higher level.
Permanently Students are only excused from subjects on a permanent basis subject to permission from excused students the school management and written application from the parents. This does not reduce the school fee.
Withdrawals Students withdrawing from the school owe the fees for a further two months. Withdrawals have to be made in writing and should reach the office by the last day of the preceding month.
Expulsion The College reserves the right to suspend or expel any student on disciplinary grounds, at the sole discretion of the school management.
Certificates Results of external examinations reach the school about two months after the corresponding examinations. A-level certificates may take up to two months after ordering and are only issued if students request a cash-in by subject on obtaining the results. Certificates are only ordered once all fees have been paid (including tuition, exams, etc.)
Holidays The holiday plan can be found on www.hullschool.ch • External examinations may take place during Ascension, Friday after Ascension and Whitsun / Pentecost Monday. • Spring holidays are one week only.
Jurisdiction Swiss law applies and any legal differences shall be settled by City of Zurich courts.
