The first college in Switzerland to offer an English Year 10 programme.
There are three important sets of examinations during the EC1 school year:
During these examination periods, regular classes do not take place as usual. Students and parents will be provided with a detailed timetable for each of the three periods in advance.
Registration
Students register for the B2 and C2 exams in class with the help of their teacher. On registering, students must provide a valid email address. Email will serve as the main form of communication between Cambridge ESOL in Winterthur and students. All communication, including invoices, invitations to examinations, results and certificates will be sent directly to the students. After registration, Hull’s School will no longer be involved in any dealings between Cambridge ESOL and the students.
Please note that Cambridge ESOL only assigns examination appointments upon receipt of payment.
All our EC1 students prepare for the Pearson IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) French examinations, which take place in April and/or May.
The IGCSE French examination consists of two components:
Registration
All students enrolled in French classes will be automatically registered for this mandatory examination by Hull’s School.
Please note that the fees for external examinations are not included in the yearly school fee or in the miscellaneous costs. Invoices for the local Pearson fee must be paid before the date of the first examination. Invoices for the local Cambridge ESOL fee must be paid upon receipt.
Hull’s School not only pushed my international career goals, but during this period of my life, I connected with many fascinating and inspiring colleagues, who became very close friends and helped me build my professional network.
