Examinations
There are three important sets of examinations during the EC1 school year:
- Internal December examinations in all subjects to assess progress
- Internal end-of-year examinations in all subjects to determine promotion
- External end-of-year Cambridge ESOL English B2 First (FCE) or C2 Proficiency (CPE) examinations, and Pearson IGCSE French examinations
During these examination periods, regular classes do not take place as usual. Students and parents will be provided with a detailed timetable for each of the three periods in advance.
External examinations

After registration, Hull’s School will no longer be involved in any dealings between Cambridge ESOL and the students.
Please note that Cambridge ESOL only assigns examination appointments upon receipt of payment.
