The first college in Switzerland to offer an English Year 10 programme.

Examinations

There are two important sets of examinations during the EC2 school year:

  1. Internal February examinations in all subjects to assess progress
  2. External end-of-year Pearson IGCSE examinations in various subjects

The results of these examinations determine promotion to EC3 and students’ choice of subjects at A level.

Regular classes do not take place during these examination periods. Students and parents will be provided with a detailed timetable for each of the periods in advance.

External examinations

Pearson Edexcel

All EC2 students prepare for a number of Pearson IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) examinations, which will take place in May and/or June.

The dates and times of the examinations will be posted here once they have been announced by Pearson.

Registration
Hull’s School will automatically register students for examinations in the subjects of the classes in which they are enrolled.

Students will receive a detailed personal timetable in April, which will include the dates, starting times and venues for each examination. They will also receive an invoice for the fees, which must be paid prior to sitting the first examination.

Examination fees
Please note that the examination fees are not included in the yearly school fee or in the miscellaneous costs.
