Entry requirements for universities outside Switzerland
In principle, almost every university in the world has its own entry requirements. The rule of thumb is illustrated in the following table. (IGCSE is foundation level, AS is lower advanced level, AL is higher advanced level)

Assisted admission to English universities from the age of 21
From the age of 21 students in England and Scotland are considered to be ‘mature'. This means they may be admitted to a programme of study even if they do not fulfil the entry requirements for younger students.
Assisted admission to the Distance Learning Programme of London University
Two A-levels and three IGCSEs (minimum grade C) qualify students for distance learning study with the London University External Programme.
