Vice Principal Richard Collicutt: Chief Operating Officer

Vice Principal:Chief Operating Officer Richard Collicutt joined Hull's School in 2001 and has taught Political Science, Business Studies, Economics and English at the college.

Richard grew up in Canada and visited Switzerland twice in the 1980s before marrying his Swiss-born wife in Canada and emigrating to the country in 1990. They returned to Canada five years later for the birth of their three children, returning permanently to Switzerland in 2001.

Richard, who is also a Swiss citizen, can trace his family tree back to Thurgau, Switzerland from which his ancestors emigrated to Canada 250 years ago during the early settlement of that country.

Richard is the former Registrar and Dean of Students of Schiller International University in Engelberg, Switzerland, and a veteran in-company teacher of English for such firms as UBS, Credit Suisse, Swiss Re and ZKB.

Richard Collicutt is also an award winning daily and weekly newspaper journalist, having worked from coast to coast in Canada, and a former editor at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He graduated from Acadia University and Holland College in Canada.

When he is not at school, he can be found working in his vegetable garden or riding the bike paths with his children in Aargau Canton. He and his wife Iris reside in the village of Rupperswil, located between Aarau and Lenzburg.
